A comprehensive history of Countryside School in Butler County, Kansas. Countryside was established as an elementary school of eight grades. It was a consolidation of four one-room schools in 1955. During the life of the school, thirty different classes were represented. The school was closed, due to local school unification, in 1978. The book showcases the students, teachers, building, playground, and activities of the 1950s, 60s,and 70s.
