Museum Hours
The museum is open year-round for self-guided exploration of the galleries and outdoor exhibits. Guided tours are available for groups by advance reservation.

Admission
General admission includes access to all indoor galleries and outdoor exhibits at the museum. Admission can be purchased at the front desk using cash or card.

Blue Star Museums Program
The museum participates in the Blue Star Museums program, which provides free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families.
This program runs each year from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.

To make the most of your visit, we recommend allowing 1–2 hours to explore the indoor exhibits and outdoor museum grounds.
Visitors are welcome to explore the museum at their own pace, and guided tours may be scheduled in advance for groups.

Visitor Guidelines
To help preserve the historic buildings and artifacts:
• Food and drinks are not allowed inside exhibit halls or historic structures
• Visitors are welcome to bring packed meals for outdoor picnicking
East Park, located next to the museum, is also available for outdoor picnics.
Restrooms
Indoor restrooms are located inside the main museum building and include single-stall men’s and women’s facilities.
Additional restrooms are located outdoors in the historic Wash House building and include multi-stall facilities.
