LEARN & DISCOVER AT THE KANSAS OIL MUSEUM
The Kansas Oil Museum serves Butler County and the surrounding area as an educational institution showcasing the full spectrum of our county's history and the booming oil industry that sprang from it. Our aim is to provide engaging and informative programming for all ages, in order to foster a better appreciation and understanding of both the history and science that have made our community what it is today.
We offer guided tours of the museum for both school groups and adults, as well as making visits to classrooms, civic groups, nursing homes, and other organizations year-round to provide programs and activities for the entire community. We also host regular events such as free Family Fun Days, in addition to summer camps every June.
There is always something going on at the museum, so please check out the links on this page for more information, follow us on Facebook, or just drop by and see us sometime!
The museum offers a variety of tours and outreach programs specially tailored to match the needs and interests of our visitors and community.
